What methods do we use to calculate your ESG score ?
5 key steps
At Owise, our methodology is based on a five-step process to provide an
accurate and relevant ESG assessment, tailored to your specific needs. Here's
how we work :
Step 1Application and data collection
It all starts with your request. As soon as we receive your request for an ESG assessment, we start collecting data. To do this, we use a set of specific questions, aligned with the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) standards. The CSRD standards are European directives designed to provide a framework for extrafinancial reporting. These standards enable us to define the relevant criteria for measuring a company's ESG performance.
Step 2Initial assessment
Once the data has been collected, we carry out an initial evaluation and weight your score according to your company's sector. We check the quality and relevance of the data to ensure that there are no inconsistencies in your company's rating.
Step 3Report preparation
Based on the data collected and the assessment carried out, we draw up a detailed report that includes qualitative and quantitative data, including your ESG score. This report provides a clear view of your ESG performance.
Step 4Second verification
Once the report has been drawn up, we carry out a second in-depth check to ensure the accuracy of the data and the scoring. This step is crucial to the quality of the assessment.
Step 5Report submission
Once we are satisfied with the accuracy of the assessment, we send you the full report. This document provides an accurate picture of your ESG performance, while identifying areas for improvement.
